About Randolph S Stewart
Subtly anchored in the Caribbean influences of his youth and of later contemporary Christian jamming, Mr. Stewart has been highly influenced by the diversity and stylings of local Ohio Valley musicians, including local favorites Randy Keener and Adrian Niles; California, PA's Roger Sealy, in whose band "Rose Bros." he sang and played guitar for two years; and many others. He considers that:
"The excellence of Ohio Valley musicians motivated me to work harder. I consider myself the lyricist, not the singer or musician, but I work hard so that people will enjoy the music as well as the message in the songs. Judging by response at my live shows, I feel I've hit a chord."
2010-2011 was largely spent in Rattlefiddle Production's Valley Grove studio, putting together the 13 songs of "Fire of the Sun" along with a lot of very talented friends.
Recordings include work on Carla Anderton's PeerAmid Collection(2002), CD Visions (2004), CD Fire of the Sun (2010) and current project Elm Grove Exit now in progress, samples at Reverbnation/RScottStewart.
